Frequently asked
Good to know.
Do I need to install anything?
No. DreamPOS runs in the browser on your tablet, laptop or till device. For receipt printers you install one small helper, the Print Bridge.
Does it work when the internet drops?
Yes. The till keeps taking orders and payments. As soon as the connection is back, everything syncs automatically with your other devices.
Can I keep my current printers?
Usually yes. Network receipt printers over IP work directly. For USB and serial printers you use the Print Bridge on the PC at the till.
Is it right for Belgian VAT?
The reports apply Belgian rates and separate dine-in from takeaway correctly. X and Z reports are available per day and per period.
Is DreamPOS already GKS 2.0 certified?
The certification procedure is being prepared. We do not yet present DreamPOS as an already certified GKS 2.0 point-of-sale system.
Will my team cope with it?
That is the starting point of the whole design. Staff sign in with a PIN and only see what they need. Try it yourself in the demo.
What if I run several venues?
Each venue has its own menu, staff, printers and figures, fully separated from the others. You switch venues without signing in again.
